I read it about three years ago I know I know go on roll your eyes at me about how during times of economic hardship more girls are likely to be born and instead of the usual how tragic for the menz it had a really positive tone.
I was making a point to a relative about abortion and post birth murder of girls in India and how biologically the poorest women are more likely to give birth to girls. A sort of first we make them poor and then punish them for the consequences of poverty.
