Angry about ISIS

The newspaper says the ISIS muslim fundamentalist organisation currently taking over Iraq has announced ten proclamations. After proclaiming it is time for an Islamic state, the very next point deals with women.
"Women should dress decently. They should only leave their homes when absolutely necessary."

Some days I truly despair.

It's hardly a surprise, Islamic extremists believe that women should be covered head to toe and stay in their homes unless accompanied by a male relative, naturally the Isis take it a bit further and want women inside permanently because they're even more extreme.

They're doing far worse that keeping women locked up, in Syria they've been forcing girls into temporary 'marriages', they marry them for one day, rape them, then divorce them and pass them on to the next soldier. Add to that mass murder....

Be really angry that the media has been providing propaganda for these terrorists, they're predominantly funded by Saudi Arabia but they've also received support from the US and Britain. There are tens of thousands of religiously inspired foreign fighters in Syria, many of them trained in Europe with European passports. I guess it's only a matter of time before we'll get to experience on our streets what the poor Syrians have suffered with western support when they eventually return home.

I find them terrifying. We seem to be going backwards in so many parts of the world.

It is no different really from other militant Sunni groups, such as the Taliban, and the various others who are seeking to establish a Caliphate.

There seems to be no appetite from UN, NATO or any states who can reliably and rapidly project force to go in to countries to at least make an attempt to restore basic stability. And without stability/security, establishing or improving human rights will be an impossibility within those regions.
