survey for Women in STEM jobs/who used to be in STEM jobs

survey linked on this page to try and ascertain how many women in STEM jobs are no longer working, if that makes sense!

I can't link to the actual survey for some reason, but have filled it in. It will be interesting to see how many women leave science when they have children (as I did)!

Very difficult to fill in if, like me, you work in STEM but didn't start out that way (my degree is in an arts subject as was my first career but I moved to STEM following mat leave, so lots of the questions don't make sense).

Yes I was the same CommanderShepard. I just put that I got qualifications/experience on the job.

I just found it odd that 'university' wasn't an option for where you work! a badly put together survey, but the results should make interesting reading regardless!

interesting (though shame if it's not terribly well designed!)

i work in an industry that benefits hugely from women dropping out of (academic) STEM jobs as post-docs

The question about maternity leaves was funny, I've got 3 kids so have taken over 2 years for maternity leave in total but since each maternity leave has been less than a year I've never had to look for a new job so it gives a false impression.
