Sorry, I honestly don't know the answers to any of your questions but just wanted to send some moral support. Please take care of yourself and keep safe. Life is about to get much better.

Yes good luck Tidge. You could put this thread on the Relationships board...I know a number of women there have lived in women's refuges and they could definitely help!! Plus they are really fantastically supportive.

Your daughter will be fine. She has you and will no longer have to live with the man who is causing YOU the stress that she is picking up on. I suppose favourite toys, blankets, dummies if she uses them...favourite music and also just lots and lots of hugs and affection from you!!

All the very, very best!!!!

All your documents - passports, birth certificate, NHS numbers etc.

But ask your liaison worker too as there will be a much longer list.

www.womensaid.org.uk/domestic-violence-survivors-handbook.asp?section=000100010008000100320003 There's a list on this page. My local one provides toothpaste, toothbrushes etc (my children loved the plain unminty toothpaste) but toiletries etc depends on the donations they get.
I found a playmat useful as it muffled toy-related sounds on the laminate floor.
