Ok, I switched on late due to watching a news channel and due to not knowing it was on, but it's great. Also, my favourite player is on (Eni Aluko). England captain Casey Stoney is also a guest. I hope this, plus the fact the England Womens' game against Ukraine (I think) is on telly means more is planned.

The BBC have had TV rights to women's football since March 2013, when Sky dropped the contract. They have shown World Cup and European Championship internationals, as well as FA Cup ties, and now they are about to start televising the Women's Superleague. They are really pushing women's football at the Beeb. It remains to be seen whether they can attract the viewing public. I hope so.

Are many people on here interested?

Sounds good but I would be infinitely more concerned about the LFL seeking to plant a franchise stake in the UK this year.

Are you talking about the Women's Premier League Dadwashere ?

I doubt the LFL will be accepted over here as the game is very american and that will be a stumbling block. I was shocked that most of the "players" have no wages, no minimum training in a contact sport. It is not something I expect to see over here. Even in the states the game has limited exposure. I did note they tried a basketball version but as far as I know it never took off.

The SEB household will be following the women's, world cup as we are a sports crazy home. We have attended rugby matches to watch England Ladies but we don't go to any Ladies football games. DD is more interested in Karate tournaments.
