Poland's eurovision song contest entry. Ridiculous.

That really annoyed me. It's like they did it to increase their chances of winning. It's just exploitation.

Poland's attitude to women and it's women's rights in general are shocking. I say this from first hand experience. A country where a male child is still considered a necessity and women are organised to serve their men folk. In addition my personal experience of the sisterhood is shocking- back biting etc. I think that being a Catholic country has a lot to do with it.

Under the communists, you couldn't do much in Poland but you could get an abortion. Once the new government took over, the Catholic influence was too much to resist--abortion was pretty much prohibited.

So anyway, the stupid song presentation isn't much of a surprise. I don't suppose the Catholics mind very much.
