yes, it was an April Fools joke and I actually laughed. I thought it was clever and I also didn't get it until I got to the camera bit...better still are the comments from people who believed it and asked genuine questions like "what if I need a female voiceover..."

i think they were feeding into the whole male vs female workplace stereotyping thing and bringing up some interesting points about how men and women are treated as freelancers.

There was that story about a woman who used a male name to carry out her work and doubled her income...
