Can a woman survive without a man or sex in her life?

This question may be sensitive and simple. We know that most men can't go long with women and sex, how about for women? Can we really live without them for the rest of our lives?

Have lived happily without men in my life for 20 years. Don't need them for much of anything. They make more problems than solve for me.

Women can perfectly well live without men.

However, men cannot live without women. Oh, they can live without sex, but they have to have women under their control. Look at the Catholic Church. Sure, the priests don't have sex with women (or at least, should not) but they are obsessed with controlling women's bodies.

Women could happily go live on an island without men and never see or speak to any man except for reproduction purposes. (The latter only being necessary for the very old women to be cared for and therefore happy)

Men, on the other hand ... would not have established patriarchy if they didn't want to control and exploit women. Men do not want women to be able to just walk away from them. Because they fear we might do exactly that.
