Small victories

I just asked to take one of the 2 seats a white middle aged man was taking up on a packed train ( while he looked vair important doing vair important work on his vair important laptop). He looked rather shocked I had asked and stared at me for a few seconds. But moved.

I really like these small victories.....

I had one the other day - obnoxious, preening middle-aged man, after a lot of inappropriate compliments, said to me "I love women, I love talking to women ...". I stared and said "So do I". Satisfying jaw drop.

Funny how surprised the men you two talked to got!

MisguidedAngel - I wonder why men say things like that? "I love 50% of the world's population, I love talking to 50% of the world's population" - weird.

I think they mean "I love talking to the sort of woman who flutters her eyelashes, tells me how wonderful I am and doesn't bore me with any of her stuff"

Amusing isn't it how the phrase "I love women" is a sure sign of a misogynist?
