What he says is right; women are penalised for having maternity leave/career breaks. It's brilliant that he recognises this (despite thinking childfree women don't face discrimination

His fuckwittedness lies in the fact that he thinks it's fine-and-fucking-dandy, nay 'biologically natural'.
Wouldn't it have been great if he'd made his point about mothers being penalised and forced to compromise/sacrifice their careers...and then gone on to say what UKIP will do to rectify this?
But, of course not; wouldn't want to alienate 'traditionalists'.
I actually read the UKIP manifesto once (whilst vainly trying to convince my dad not to vote for them) and there is a section about working women/mothers. It's nasty, nasty shit that makes for horrible reading; getting rid of maternity rights and pay and making it legal to discriminate against (ie. not hire) women.
