Pacific - I am a lawyer. On paper based questionnaires I am well known for refusing to tick any box and writing little notes arguing with the premise of the question or giving different answers depending on circumstance.

I'm being entirely cheeky here, I'm just trying to get my mind around a new project about the gendered history of (amongst other things) testimony and I am floundering.

I love Saga, Pacific. I love that she is clever and gets shit done and I love that she has a relationship with Martin which is not all about a "frisson". I also find her face fascinating, I have a friend who has a facial scar a bit like that and she is gorgeous too (shallow)

Buffy, I have a work colleague who found it a great relief to do that test and find herself scoring relatively highly. I don't think she is interested in a formal diagnosis, but I think she is giving herself permission to move towards the areas of work that she has a natural aptitude for, and not beating herself up about not being all about the endless meetings, etc. She is quite young and is at a good time of her life to make decisions and I feel she is really coming into her own.

Yes, I love her too and think she's so good at what she does and beautiful (even though my 'type' is not blonde. And I'm not into women).
I love how she takes off her t-shirt at work and tries so hard to read up about relationships, bless her. But I fear Jakob is doomed - he is bit of a wet drip IMO. I really like Martin too - although they are all far to reasonable in their relationship dealings with each other (struck me in the recent Borgen too btw).

I thought it was funny that there was a whole horrified socially conscious digression into "What? You gave the potentially allergic man hazelnuts?!" (when by this time it was already known he was lying) - whereas in a UK or US drama no one would have given a shit about that.

LRD - not much I am afraid. A very little in the first year of my degree. I am sure there are legal academics who do masses though. Off to bed but in the unlikely event that I know anything of use I am happy to help.

I also find questionnaires very difficult. I'm brought up as a mathematician and I simply cannot resist asking "what exactly do you mean by that". I even asked a nursery worker when the kids were little what exactly she meant by "creative".

How the hell is Mette managing work, all those kids, nanny on remand and Martin off to work at all hours at the drop of a hat?

I do like that it is so female/male equal though.
