Christmas cards supporting women's charities

I'm on the hunt (rather late! Blush) for this year's Christmas cards. Last year I bought Sreepur cards which are beautiful, support women and children and 100% of the money goes to the community. Fantastic! But they're very expensive, and after having to replace DH's car this month, sadly we really need something more economical this year.

I've been Googling and can't find any other cards which support women's charities. Apparently Top Shop used to sell a range which supported Refuge, but it doesn't look like they sell them any more.

Had anyone else found any?

these people apparently donate a percentage of their proceeds to the AVA Project- Against Violence and Abuse-- who do a lot of work in preventing violence in teen relationships in London & Kent, esp. Tonbridge

For the past two years I have bought the Sreepur ones. They are worth every penny (if you can afford it, of course). Just to expand upon Op's good work; they are made by women and their children, who would otherwise be destitute, in Bangladesh. Yes, they cost £12.50 for a pack of 16, but every penny goes back to Sreepur, rather than Boots or Tesco giving 2p a pack to good causes after they have made their huge profits.

It's £14.50 for 16 (maybe the extra £2 is P&P).

I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and just fewer presents for everyone else! It seems somewhat contrary to the spirit of Christmas to deprive women in Bangladesh who really need help in order to buy more crap for privileged folk who don't need any of it! Xmas Grin

Ah, good for you OP. hope I didn't guilt you into it. They are beautiful this year. Will you be able to get them in time?
