... over this video: videofun.com.es/ver/98 It's a long time since I've felt so angry about a bit of supposedly witty & artistic female degradation. I got shouted down on a Facebook thread (lighten up, nobody forced the women, it's making a point, yadda) by people I respect - or did, until now.

I know there's nothing special about this one instance, sadly - I guess I'm hoping for some like-minded feedback so I don't feel all alone & misunderstood!

Glad I'm not the only one who lost the plot! I'm ashamed to say I hid the FB thread I was on - I was all alone in a crowd of bum-drum apologists Many of them making jokes about "a good slapping", haha ... and that was just the women.

Respect for women has a long way to go, hasn't it? :(

That was on Rude Tube on Channel 4 a few days ago (...I'm watching a LOT of crap tv in the middle of the night since having a baby last month). It really pissed me off when I saw it, especially how it was so casually dropped in the middle of a load of completely inoffensive and mildly amusing videos of people falling over on roller skates and fat kids miming along to pop songs.

To really appreciate the humour of it you need to ditch your empathy and abandon any idea that those bums are a sister, daughter, mother, friend or any other human status.

I managed to watch about two seconds before I felt sick. Just an excuse to do crap things because it is 'innovative', IMHO!

It's not as graphic as some (the bottoms are at least facing away from us), but it's totally pointless. I mean what point is he trying to make? Oh I get it, is this about putting women in their place again? Lest we forget, we are bodies first and foremost and the playthings of men!

He looks like a fucking nob and it's a pity one of them didn't turn around and punch his stupid face.

If it's so innovative, how come it looks like all those bottoms belong to female people? Why no male arses?

And also I'd like to know in what way it's actually innovative.
