Article written by Anna Gunn who plays Skyler White in Breaking Bad

Personally, I think most of the characters in BB are generaly unlikeable, but I've always had sympathies with Skyler, and not realy understood the general hate. This explains it pretty well.

I read this article in the Guardian about how none of the female character in Breaking Bad are real "characters" at all.

I'm not sure about her conclusion that people hate Skyler because she isn't being a Stepford Wife. There are plenty of reasons regardless of her gender why that character is unlikeable, but that said her gender does allow for the expression of that dislike to take a certain form, i.e. bitch, shrew, etc.
