Yes, indeed. No surprise there.

But I am so glad I stayed up to watch it. It was very inspiring. Some very brave and feisty women (and a few good men.)

Not all is lost, I hope. I am certain that this law will be challenged in the courts. It creates such a heavy burden on the rights set out in Roe v. Wade, which ironically enough, came out of Texas.

Now to bed. I'll catch up in the morning.

So they were holding their arms out to show the time to the gallery (i.e., 12:02), not voting. Not sure if that's credible but the whole thing is a total shambles.

Yep it seems unclear if the vote counts/was legal. The guardian says the same.
