Hi
I consider myself feminist and was raised by a feminist mother.
(however at some points of confusion in my life I turned into a man pleaser, perhaps due to the complicated relationship with my father).
Anyway, English isn't my first language and I have great difficulty putting my point across in English.
Recommendations of books to fill my head with the appropriate terms, expressions etc are very welcome.
Thanks.

I liked Living Dolls by Natasha Walters as my first Feminist book, but sexual objectification of women in the media is a particular interest of mine.

Kat Banyard 'The Equality Illusion' is very good. Basically runs through a day, illustrating at each point the impact of patriarchy and the illusion of equality, and addresses things like the myth of 'choice feminism', porn, etc. I found it an easy read, but with enough substance to be interesting.
