see? so that's nice news for a change

in fact can we have a thread for women in the news because they have Done Constructive Stuff and not because they have been killed, raped, kidnapped or otherwise hurt by men or because they look nice or look horrible but have actually Done Constructive Stuff?

As a starter we could cite the women yesterday who went to the soldier's side in Woolwich and the woman who had the guts to try and defuse the attackers' attitude, not knowing if she well be the next victim.
