This is the kind of thing we are talking about here.

There are a lot of people targeting Dove, Audible and Vistaprint today to ask them to withdraw advertising funds from FB until they stop allowing content endorsing violence against women. I've posted a few comments on these advertiser's walls today - please give a minute to post something and we can make it happen.

By getting the advertisers to stop funding FB they are hitting where it hurts.

When you see it captured like that, it really does look like AMEX, Finnair et al, support rape doesn't it?

You'd think they'd be a bit more protective of their brands. One of the basics of media placement, is that the company you keep (in terms of the editorial and other advertisers on the page) is important to how people see your brand. So if you keep company with rapists, er, that's not a good look.
