I was just looking at the thing about donating £100 to be a founder member and then decided I really wouldn't want to be served cocktails by Rod Liddle or George Galloway Confused

I'll definitely be reading though. Anything's got to be better than practically anything on the market atm.

I'll probably look at it occasionally and would gladly pay £100 if it meant I could kick Galloway in the nuts. I hate that man, just his name makes me want to stab something.

That would certainly be more acceptable than accepting a cocktail from him and I'd gladly forego the necessary repairs to my windows this year for that opportunity - worth every penny. Grin

potential massive irony fail here, George gallway isn't actually going to be there is he? or is he doing it to pay penance for his raping a sleeping woman is just kind of bad etiquette comments? I don't know who liddle is so I suspect that would have explained if I knew what he was up to as well.

I don't think Galloway is thought to have raped a sleeping woman, is he? He is just on record saying that he thought it was OK that Julian Assange did. Which got him into very hot water in his own party (good) and generally (also good).

The Grauniad article says he is "penitent". Has he used the intervening time to realise where he was wrong, and become reasonable? That would be great!
