My feminist group is planning an event in the summer (will post details in due course - it should be fun) and inevitably there are costs involved. Nothing that should break the bank, but public liability insurance, PA system, publicity materials... it all adds up.
Does anyone have any ideas for raising money? We are applying for all the grants etc we can, and sending lots of hopeful begging letters, but it's hard work and we have not yet been deluged with enthusiastic donors. Any suggestions or experiences would be enormously appreciated.
