Anyone else been watching this series? I have been consistently impressed by the quantity and calibre of women guests they have compared to other shows. It's presented in a Top Gear style and could easily have been really blokey but they have actually bothered to hire intelligent women scientists and guests.
Tonight's episode had a woman brain expert as the main guest, alongside two women scientists presenting and discussing items as well as an interview with Jessica Hynes. So not the usual tokenistic effort. It's like they've actually bothered the read the much talked-about recent list of women experts.
Obviously this should be the norm rather than the exception but good to see a programme leading the way rather than lazily following the male-dominated standard.
