It's v funny.

I have TWO review copies lurking under my desk at work yet cannot face embarking on that particular Vagina Monologue.

Loved it. Good to see Germaine writing like her old self. She has a very uneven column in the Australian press including such gems as criticising our (female) Prime Minister's choice of clothes because her jackets make her look fat and filling hundreds of words on whether she and Clive James were friends back in the day...

Her review seems rather dishonest in parts. She describes Wolf getting a metal plate screwed into her back as if this was how she was going to get her amazing orgasms back, and as 'snakeoil', when Wolf clearly says she had been diagnosed with mild spina bifida and her bones were crumbling!

Brilliant, loved it, Greer always makes me smile. I have no intention of reading the wolf book.
