HHonestly is anyone really that bothered. She spends up to two hours a week remOving body hair!

She had slightly hairy arms. Honestly though. I shave my pits and my legs though left them alone for ten days as I have been busy. I was nit that bothered. I had good sex Dp when pushed jokes about shaving my
Minge but it really is a joke.
Am I just slovenly?

2 hours a week seems excessive. I do it when I have time, I like having smooth legs and armpits but equally I won't die if I forget and neither will dp.

Is this a real person ?

Is she mentally ill ? Does she have a psychiatric disorder ? Body dysmorphism ? OCD ?

There is no other explanation for such excess

I don't think I spend 2 hours a year removing body hair! I don't shave my legs, or do anything with my bikini line, I only shave my pits. So maybe 2 mins a week in total (sometimes less if I cba to do it), so yes about 2 hours a year, I can't imagine how much body hair you would have to be removing in order to spend 2 hours a week on it.

I saw it and thought it was a little silly. Most women have more pressing concerns, I would think. Although, of electrolysis was cheaper and quicker, I would do it. Saves another thing to think about.

I saw it. It has never occurred to me to worry about arm hair. She has too much time on her hands, and should get a proper job or do done voluntary work or something.

I think it can be a cultural thing. I wasn't worried about my arm hair and am not now, but my sister who is Indian was disgusted. Society again.

A lot of men like it because that's what they see in porn and so it has become the norm. So i wonder if this has in part influenced some women's thinking about it?

Cherry said in the program that she was happy with her bush until a boyfriend when she was young commented on it and suggested she try a new smaller shape. Since then she has kept it trimmer i think (not that I've seen it, just from what she said). She also had a bloke comment on her hairy arms when she was young and impressionable and has waxed them ever since!

If trim bushes or completely waxed ones have become normal to men then they are going to comment on anything different and what young girl wants to be seen as different or a freak.

I hate to think that we as women do things regarding our appearance just because men like it or expect it but that's what the program was about. Men were so freaked out by women with hair!

Where Cherry has gone wrong is to care what some bloke said. If they don't like hairy arms or a hairy bush then can always go and find someone else. After all, who wants to have sex with a shallow pea-brain? Or of course she could suggest that hairy balls don't turn her on much either and suggests she trims him into a nicer shape and while she is at it what about trimming him all over so she doesn't end up with his pubic hairs in her teeth.

2 hours a week is about 15 mins a day.
I bet there are plenty of women who do that.
Equally women who spend 2 hours a week on their nails, or 4 hours a week on their hair, or whatever.
I can't be arsed personally, just do stuff when I feel like it.
makes me sad that so many women spend so much time, money, effort and often pain because they feel they have to. Awful.

I can see how you would spend 2 hours a week if you wanted to be smooth constantly,if you shaved your legs,armpits and bits every day or even every other day it would probably take that long?It just depends on how quick it grows back.

I wish they'd stop giving that bloody woman screen time.

I quite like Cherry Healey, but she obviously has some real body issues. On the previous episode she was talking to a girl who was utterly dependant on diet pills, and they were both talking about how they needed to lose weight, when they were both tiny.
