MMeLindor has a thread about this in campaigns:

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/mumsnet_campaigns/1500799-MmeLindor-is-in-Kenya-blogging-about-Reproductive-Rights

As there is no thread about it on here, feminists may be unaware that the thread exists, so I've started this thread so that people will know.

Thanks CaramelTree, I had not spotted this

Please do read!

Mme Lindor is blogging about reproductive rights in Kenya, as just one example of the worldwide issue.

On July 11 there is a major global summit on family planning in London.

This is obviously a huge issue for women and girls around the world.

Feminist groups and development charities are calling for donor governments to support family planning provision,, but crucially to do this in a human rights framework - so it is not about doctors and health departments meeting quotas but ensuring women are empowered to decide when to have children.

Thanks for the link!

I dream of a day my daughters and granddaughters can live anywhere in the world and be able to have rights to their own body.
