The other threads have me thinking about this ... instead of doing the weeding 
Since 1971:-
My feminism has NOT changed, as far as I can see. I'm more aware of layered issues now. I'm just as cross and just as optimistic.
My general politics have softened, only in so far as I discovered communism doesn't work well in practice. I've been a lefty capitalist for 30+ years.
I've spent the past 10+ years acknowledging the dissonance between my private life and my public/political persona. I've done lots of experiments while working on that - being celibate, having hairy legs, being glamorous but vocal, being dowdy, etc, etc.
It's going to rain soon so I'm off for a very short weeding session! I would LOVE to hear back. Maybe we can solve the world's gender issues with our combined wisdom?!
