In the light of all this crapola and current prevalence of rape myths, particularly the one about how if a woman is not actually screaming 'No' and hitting out and fighting then it's OK for her to be fucked...

NOTHING LESS THAN YES MEANS YES.

Ie that if there's not an active, positive response then it's not 'Yes.' It's rape.

And this is the sort of thing I mean.

I think it's a good message.

I only understood 'NOTHING LESS THAN YES MEANS YES' on a re-reading, which means it loses potency.

I'd review it. Someting about the syntax doesn't seem right, it's almost a double negative of a sort.

Are you making signs, or badges or something along those lines?

Wondering if putting the YES MEANS YES in bigger letters might help avoid alternative readings/emphasis, and be eye-catching (as it is brief and has the repetition/symmetry factor). The rest of the slogan could be littler so that people have to look more closely?

Yeah, badges, FB page etc. I was starting from 'expect nothing less' ie the default position should be, if you are not getting positive reinforcement and enthusiasm from someone, you're getting a clear NO from them.
