There's a take away in the city centre with an add in the window offering a 'free lapdance' in the window...

It's inside the window, facing outwards and has now been joined by another picture of a bikini wearing woman with huge erm...yes.

I'll try the licensing dept. I took pictures, I'll upload them when I can find the lead.

You could also report to the Advertising Standards Authority. This is a poster type ad in a public place. The online reporting mechanism is fairly easy. The take away will have to deal with ASA even if the complaint is not upheld. Make sure you talk about objectification and any local schools etc as that will strengthen the complaint.

You could also run in, rip them down, and run back out Grin

If it's closed during the day I would consider sticking something over the outside of the window that obscured the poster and was very hard to get off the window. Like those impossible-to-remove stickers that parking enforcement people stick on your windscreen if you've parked somewhere you shouldn't (not that I have ever done this, of course Blush) with high tack adhesive. Just a thought.

I agree with eighties chick. Even if they only open at night I would make a point of going in and asking them to take it down. Get as many men and women as you can to go in and say the same then if they dont take it down write to the news paper. You cant be the only person in Derby who is wound up about this and believe me I dont blame you.

SinglePringle, I wish I lived in a world where I thought it was ok to sell women's bodies with take aways I am sure my life would be much easier! However, I am so sad that I live in world where some people do think it is ok. Wake up and smell the coffee for goodness sake.

IIRC, it's vandalism/criminal damage to do that EightiesChick. I can't leave ds alone or I would go in.
