This seems like a woman taking a fall for male bad behaviour. Associate editors don't generally create publications.

It's how men set it up unfortunately - that women can only get ahead by selling out other women in some shape or form. Nuts is pretty egregious of course.

"Nuts was mainly staffed by left-leaning middle-class family men (and women)"

Not many women I'm betting.

You just gotta love lefty liberal middle class family men.

They must have had to really scrape around to find those women from lads mags, none of whom appear to have had much seniority or influence, in order to blame women for the phenomenon.

Here were the men responsible for lads mags (funnily enough the Guardian didn't publish photos of them):

They're real scum aren't they?

To the extent that she's repentant at all, I'd say she's crying tears strictly of the crocodile variety. If she were still making a living from that magazine, I bet she'd be saying how good & wholesome it is.

But such nice people are putting these things out! You can trust them and laugh at their jokes and hear them talk about their families! Is evil banal? No, no it isn't!
