Which Cbeebies programmes would you let your children see?

A mirror thread to another. I just wondered (since I haven't seen the entire Cbeebies output and may never get to since it's now ahem broken in our house) whether any of the programming passed muster from a feminist perspective?

These are my choices:
Show me, Show me
Auntie Mabel
Timmy time

Mine don't really watch cbeebies, they watch Tiny Pop. Tiny Pop has TV programs that feature girls/women as main characters.

My daughter loves Something Special and to be honest I like it too. I just think that Justin is brilliant with all the children and Mr Tumble is pretty funny. I don't like Justin's House mind you. I won't let her watch Zingzillas, due to the portrayals of Zak and Pansy mainly.

Oh...Show me, show me is another favourite and I am thinking about having 64 Zoo Lane on as I notice the main character is a girl.

Nina and the Neurons. Nina gets to sing songs about snot AND wield a microscope with verve. Love her.

Mine loves Madeline on Tiny Pop. She kicks ass, according to my DD! Grin

I've worked out how the BBC does diversity though, they have men, but with different accents. Cos that's diversity innit.
