Actually though I think an interesting point was missed - Christianity was pegged as a masculinisation of religeon, but I think that in fact Christianity, as opposed to old testament stuff was about more 'feminine' (yes I know that's problematic!) ideas - forgiveness, understanding, turning other cheek etc and was in direct opposition to the relative vengeful, eye for an eye, cutting hands off stuff that pre-dated it. I think that would have been something interesting to explore in more depth... maybe there will be more in other episodes...
