Anyone seen this yet? Would love to know which label it is. Unbelievable

I found it quite funny. I don't think its real to be honest

PlumpDogPillionaire · 05/03/2012 19:35

Sorry, WW, but that made me laugh out loud. Blush

msrisotto · 05/03/2012 19:38

Wow...that's nice.

PogueMahone · 07/03/2012 20:39

I think an equivalent racist 'joke' label would be clearly seen as offensive and not in the slightest bit funny. A depressing number of men seriously agree with the sentiment in the 'joke', and god help us they don't need any more validation.

WidowWadman · 07/03/2012 20:53

There was quite a good blogpost about this in the (shock) Torygraph about it :If you like banter, you are an idiot.

Apparently the retailer is blaming the manufacturer [it's not clear but it sounds like generic chinos sold under the shop's own lable] and promising to proof labels better. Sounds more likely it's a publicity stunt to me, so I'm not posting the name here but you can find it in this CNN article.

TheOneWithTheHair · 08/03/2012 07:26

I don't like it but I'm raising an eyebrow in mild amusement at the girlfriend finding it.

TheOneWithTheHair · 08/03/2012 07:27

Oh the irony.

AliceHurled · 08/03/2012 07:54

There was a bike clothing company that did this a few years ago, I don't think it's fake.

AliceHurled · 08/03/2012 07:56

Like the article too, fucking hate 'banter'

Lottapianos · 08/03/2012 08:59

WidowWadman, thank you so much for the link to that article. What a fabulous blog post - he's hit the nail on the head. Fabulous Grin

Doesn't bother me, and it's not the same as a racist joke.

EduStudent · 11/03/2012 11:34

Do we know which company? They don't look like normal UK symbols.
