Italian tv reaches a new low

This week is the annual televised 'song festival' in Italy. This year it is hosted by a male singer flanked by two 'show girls' - as they like to call them here. There is always endless analysis of outfits and who revealed what, which now seems to have culminated in bare crotch shots.

I am sick fed up of the blatant, unapologetic way women are objectified here and just had to write it down somewhere

Its nothing new - i daresay she was in complete agreement as she needs to keep herself in the press somehow as the Corona story has gone quiet now. Heck this kind of stuff has been going on since colpo grosso , and you just need to turn on Canale 5 at 20.30 for more. Mind you on some programes I believe they have 'moderated things' . However if you think about it the whole San Remo thing is loosing its pull so it was probably practiced.

As for Italian tv on the whole - thank heavens for Sky so it can be avoided !
