I'm a little confused as to why you think more regulation to jokes on facebook is a good idea? Like pages only really show up to people who look for them. It's not as if I put "Free T-shirts" and "I raped my friend for a joke" pages come up instead. Our own televisions have a HUGE amount of worse stuff coming through them than a little old facebook page.
So no, a facebook like page is not a big fish, rallying against feminism or encouraging rape. It's just some person making a little joke - and the only people sharing the joke are those who look for it.
Have you seen the adult channel on your skybox lately? I'm sure there are some rape fantasies on there, which you can watch from your own home, or your children accidental turn over to. At least with facebook you are pretty much aimed into what you typed in.
A facebook like page is not a big issue.
Well TheBrandyButterflyEffect people don't often state "you should focus your energy on other things... like me! I do _" because it sounds arrogant. Have you ever asked someone where you should focus your energy instead? Personally, seeing as you were wondering, when I want to "change the world" so to speak, I do it at election time, join a union or political party, make something viral, build a website, get a fan base... meet with like minded people. I make it for a national or global concern. Here is a comparison.
I would vote for someone who said rape was bad.
I would join a union who discourages rape talks in a professional work environment
I would brain storm ideas to educate others as to why some people would get offended by rape jokes and places you shouldn't say them.
I wouldn't spend my time repeatability reporting a facebook page, which only seems to be encouraging the page creators.
