Median hourly earnings excluding overtime are different from full-time gross: as far as I could see, the second table backs up what she is saying.

Probably me being thick, but where is the 17% you mentioned?

in the 22-29 age group men's median full time gross weekly earnings are £413 whereas women's are £398, that is a 17% gap

what is the point in creating a figure which excludes overtime? It is fabricated and doesn't represent actual take home pay.
