I'm about to start, and would like to find a reading buddy to discuss things that we find. Anyone up for it?
My context: married one year +, one baby DD, work part-time (eveningsat home).

I started reading it a couple of weeks ago, but got distracted by the (rubbish) novel I have to read for my real life book club which is meeting soon. I will be back on it soon, though.

Just got it, about to start reading it...but I am single.

Hi Catherine - I'll join you on that thread, we're in similar positions re: family, though I work FT, and I'm reading it - slowwwwly :)

DuelingFanjo · 14/11/2011 13:11

I bought it and have started to read it. I would like to join you.

Great - see you on the thread : )
DD has just gone for a nap, so am hoping to make a start, and not get distracted by AIBU or other MN delights...

I read it a few months ago and have since split up with H. Not sure there was an exact causal link, but definitely an influencing factor!

emskaboo · 14/11/2011 20:00

I read recently and it definitely helped crystallise my feelings and helped me discuss the division of household labour with DH. Still have a wildly tendered split, but with discussion it is getting better and DH does, pretty much, get it.

My context is I'm mum to two DS 4(almost) and DD 15 months, I work PT two days plus agreed out of office time on the days I'm not in and occasional freelance bits.

I read this about a year or so ago made alot of sense to me definitely recommend it to others , purchased it second hand off of Amazon

I read it recently, would be interested to go back to the thread. I found it interesting, but was uncomfortable with some of it, would be very interested to discuss it more.
