How would you define feminism?

I'm new to the feminism board & have never actually met another self proclaimed feminist but have always considered myself a feminist.

I'm not a regular at the feminist board, but would have thought it was a movement to ensure equality amongst men and women where possible.

I just defined it elsewhere as the recognition that patriarchy structures our society, the view that is wrong, and the desire to change it.
