Sexist or clever parody?

There is a bit of male totty in there too. But I had to close DH's jaw for him yesterday when I caught him drooling over it.

I absolutely love this Virgin ad (I loved last year's one also). Years ago when I used to fly on business transatlantic Virgin was my absolute favourite. Great people and great service. (BA was the next best, but with a distance.)

Actually it was BA who founded the ATA of which women were an important part in the war. So that is something of an advertising opportunity missed.

But details aside it just annoys me when ads/media like this one build shrines to the greatness of manhood when the truth behind it is that women had a whole range of obstacles legal and social effectively barring them from these professions which are so worshipped.

I like the Virgin Ad too, it's very well made.
Anyway. I think half the men in it are only lowly stewards as only the Captain wears a hat.Smile

Very sexist. Women are your stereotypical trolley dollies, where are the women pilots? The air stewardesses are women who are serving the men, very sexist.
