Deleted threads

Hello,

I just reported a thread started by 'Dittony' which had a title attacking another poster and provided a link to a blog post.

It looked like a few others had reported it too as they had posted on it.

However in A/C there is another thread with the same title, which when you click on it takes you to a page saying 'error: thread deleted at OP's request'.

The OP however would appear to be someone who posted on the first thread, but not the same person who started it.

So can anyone please clarify what happened here...assuming the second thread was not posted by the same person as the first, (which has now gone) under a namechange?

(really hope not!)

OK, I haven't read the entire thread, just had a quick skim, but is there any reason why every time I open a thread on the feminist section, fucking BobfuckingBanana seems to be on it? And seems to be on it quite a lot?

Wamster/Bob/Edd: the fact you are a woman or man has no relevance to the debate. I have to say that most things all of you posts (over the last couple of weeks) appear to willfully misunderstand and misrepresent what feminism is. This might be because you haven't actually understood what feminism is about and are genuinely confused; but your contributions tend to read as is you have decided that feminism is daft and it is your mission to show us deluded souls the error of our ways. On my threads now we have discussed issues from a feminist perspective and explained why we find xyz offensive. It has been clear that you don't accept this arguments or believe them even worth considering. And if this is the case, I really don't understand why you keep hanging around. If it had been genuine interest and you have decided we are bunch of loons, there is no point to your staying. I can respect you not agreeing. But since you stay, the only explanation appears to be that you are actually here with the aim of playing "bait the feminist" for your own personal kicks. I find this deeply offensive and indicative that you have no respect for my opinions or those of other feminists.
For all of these reasons I am deeply suspicious of you and your intentions. I also refuse to play ball with you anymore. I don't see why I should have, this being a public forum and all.

This is supposed to be a thread about Dittany and Sakura and the fact that they are being personally targeted by some persistent nasty people, in quite a scary way.

SQ - has anyone heard anything from MN? Was it a simple troll or was the board hacked? It seems really weird and I would appreciate an update (but don't feel I can ask because I didn't see the threads).
