they covered her on the news this morning...

it was interesting listening to conservative members trying to say 'she is a nutjob' without actually saying it (terms such as 'valued colleague that feels very strongly about it')

she has hijacked the health and social care bill....taking the whole focus of a much wider bill...interesting point.

ah..also launched with Frank Field...he's shrunk back a bit from it ...

good point about adopting an American anti-abortion tactic...that is attacking nuts and bolts rather than the ethos.

i really hope they aren't going to play a whole bunch of 'i had an abortion and am miserable about it' without countering it with an 'if i hadn't had an abortion it would have been much more traumatic' interview.

If we have learned anything from the appalling mess of endemic child abuse in Ireland, it's that Church and State should be kept as far away from each other as possible. Not the same subject but it's still about control masquerading as something else.
