It's an enormous puppet, basically. It is making me well up a bit and I'm not sure why.

Maybe it's just that it would be so lovely if little girls were able to command that sort of presence and attention and take up that amount of cultural "space" in a positive way, just for being who they are ... does that make sense? The scale of her gives her such impact. I love it, but it also makes me think of all the real, small little girls who suffer for being small and vulnerable, iyswim.
I appreciate that is probably quite a personal reaction to it but fuck it, it's art so that is OK. I just wanted to share it :) And also to go
at the puppetry and technical skills that go into making something on that scale so expressive.
