Evening all. Think we need to clear a couple of things up. So we're posting here what we posted on the "hate women being single" thread.

Severin is/was indeed one of our returning "friends". And we're happy to say so publicly (not least because he's announced it himself!)

But we have no reason to suspect Wamster of being either a returning "friend" or anybody's sockpuppet.

We're sorry for any confusion about this.

Swallowedafly: we can see why you might have thought what you did. You mailed us with your suspicions about Wamster and Severin and got the reply "Yup, your instincts were spot on". The MNHQer on duty was replying to several reports about Severin with "Yup, your instincts were spot on" and included your mail in that batch - obviously without noticing your extra query about Wamster.
We do apologise for that oversight.

However, we would like to remind everyone of our Talk Guidelines. Please don't accuse people of trolling/sock-puppetry on the boards - even if you're pretty darn sure you're right
