Some men really hate women being single don't they?

inspired by a couple of other threads including the separatism one. Have you ever noticed that if a man you don't like or know or fancy is trying to persuade you to date him or spend time with him or even just talk to him, the only really effective way to make him fuck off is to tell him that you are another man's property. Just saying No, leave me alone, no thanks, actually I am having a conversation with my female friend and am not interested in talking to you, never seems to work until you throw in My Boyfriend or My Husband.

Wasn't I mentioned as one of his sock puppets?

People do not think you're a man because you're disagreeing with them, Wamster. We think you're a man because you sound like a man, because you're displaying exactly the kind of unthinking privilege and sense of entitlement that men who pester women in bars do. You haven't the first clue about feminism (see upthread where it's been explained to you several times, after you told us all that we should shut up moaning and take action).

I am not Jamez.

Proof - he's from Texas and I know who Mary Mungo & Midge were. Or think I'm Jamez, whatever.

I did message him, to say 'I am reporting ayone who calls you a rape apologist, perhaps you should do the same.'

I also tried and apparentlty failed to report HerBex, which is why she must have got that message from Se3verin.

Hope that clears things up. Apart from why SAF seemed to have blatantly lied to get another member banned.

Evening all. Think we need to clear a couple of things up.

Severin is/was indeed one of our returning "friends". And we're happy to say so publicly (not least because he's announced it himself!)

But we have no reason to suspect Wamster of being either a returning "friend" or anybody's sockpuppet.

We're sorry for any confusion about this.

Swallowedafly: we can see why you might have thought what you did. You mailed us with your suspicions about Wamster and Severin and got the reply "Yup, your instincts were spot on". The MNHQer on duty was replying to several reports about Severin with "Yup, your instincts were spot on" and included your mail in that batch - obviously without noticing your extra query about Wamster.
We do apologise for that oversight.

However, we would like to remind everyone of our Talk Guidelines. Please don't accuse people of trolling/sock-puppetry on the boards.
