Some men really hate women being single don't they?

inspired by a couple of other threads including the separatism one. Have you ever noticed that if a man you don't like or know or fancy is trying to persuade you to date him or spend time with him or even just talk to him, the only really effective way to make him fuck off is to tell him that you are another man's property. Just saying No, leave me alone, no thanks, actually I am having a conversation with my female friend and am not interested in talking to you, never seems to work until you throw in My Boyfriend or My Husband.

SwallowedAfly Sorry, but what are you talking about? I don't even know severin!! Are you saying that I am coming on here using multiple identities? Confused.

I AM NOT!! Please could you contact MN again, because I am not posting on this thread using multiple identities!!

Bandwithering · 08/08/2011 17:38

I will, and funnily enough on that thread, there is somebody called coldtruth (i think) who is agreeing with him.

Right, this is getting ridiculous now. I accept that you disagree with me, but I have never, ever heard of severin until today.

You are either mistaken, swallowedafly, or you are not being truthful. There is no other explanation.

We hadn't heard of Severin until today, either...

Wamster · 08/08/2011 17:43

Who has told you, that I am severin, swallowedafly? I can assure you that severin has NOTHING to do with me.

Well, I am telling you here that you must have misinterpreted their reply, because I have nothing at all to do with severin.

I have not changed my name on this thread to get my point across, OK?

Empusa · 08/08/2011 17:48

I like how Wamster is now far too distracted to talk about the scenario I posted, though I suspect we'll be told that the poor bloke couldn't help it.

Bandwithering · 08/08/2011 17:49

He underestimated the wimmen. Thought they'd be blinded by his superior logic. But they weren't. VERY awkward of them. So he had to draft in a bit more woolly superior logic. Confused

Wamster · 08/08/2011 17:52

Sorry, Empusa, I came back as I thought your comment deserved a reply and saw this absolute cack about me being somebody called severin and got distracted.

Anyhow, I think what you describe goes beyond pestering myself and you experienced what I would consider to be abusive and threatening behaviour.

So, I am sorry if this happened to you, because it goes beyond just persistence and is abusive and threatening and like I have always said, that behaviour is never acceptable.

DontCallMePeanut · 08/08/2011 17:52

And nor is severin -whoever they may be- a sock puppet of mine.

AuntieMonica · 08/08/2011 17:55

Grin @ me being a sockpuppet Grin

Wamster · 08/08/2011 17:56

You are mistaken or not telling the truth, swallowedafly. Can you ask mn to make a statement here?

Empusa · 08/08/2011 17:56

Wamster the problem is, this is the kind of behaviour we have been talking about all through this thread!

And it's this behaviour that we've so far had dismissed with "so what?", "it's not assault", "it's not rape" or we've been accused of being "drippy feminists" for not being happy with it.

We've also heard this behaviour be dismissed because some women play games.

Can you understand at all why this is so frustrating?

Wamster · 08/08/2011 17:56

Something along the lines of: wamster and severin are not the same person?
