WTF? The new body dysmorphia: woman who looks perfectly normal (pretty, even) slags off her own appearance.....and prefers her dentally / surgically enhanced, fake tanned, micro mini skirt "new look"

And this from an apparently intelligent woman.
Vicky Ward
Is this just a case of writing any old women-hating drivel for the DM for a thousand quid fee or do women actually think like this?
Makes me want to gnash my teeth.

Although if she still lived in the UK it would be

C) have you had an accident because you could be entitled to compensation?

Oh no, my c) was
c) Do you believe families can stay together in England? Here, have a naffing leaflet from the Jehovah's Witnesses telling you how you're failing your son by being a lone parent... (well, I added words, but you get the idea)

Wow, I almost fell asleep reading that. This woman is a journalist? Really? Hmm

Talk about self-obsessed! My boobs, my teeth, my hair - blah, blah, blah.

The reader comments (for once) weren't too dire, they seemed to mirror some of what we are all saying - ie. she's mad as a box of frogs.

The thing that made my heart ache was the insipid 'articles' listed down the right hand side of the page for other 'news stories'. As well as showing (another) pic of Pippa's pert bum was an article about how maternal Kate Middleton is as she actually looked at and spoke to a child. Wow. Just wow.

MortaIWombat · 27/06/2011 16:30

Why is she wearing huuuuge shoes in the blue dress pic? Think they aren't really hers.

msrisotto · 27/06/2011 18:47

What a vacuous article. When did papers get so low brow?

And yeah, the amount of focus on PM's bum is offensive.

msrisotto · 27/06/2011 18:48

What about Harry's package? You know?

DontCallMeBaby · 27/06/2011 18:56

Ha - "the New York dentist warned me that if I didn't do something about the criss-crossed teeth then eventually they'd push each other out and I'd have no front teeth at all." My mum has teeth like that, she is 64 and they have yet to fall out. Good job she's never met a New York dentist.

Wonder if she still has the husband? And if so what HE looks like now. He was cute on their wedding day.

whyohwine · 27/06/2011 19:22

she is not with her husband. the article was a follow up to one she did a few weeks before about her awful divorce. cant do links but if you go to the DM website and search her naem you will find it.

LRDTheFeministNutcase · 27/06/2011 19:31

dontcall - yeah, that did sound suspiciously like dentist-seeking-money, didn't it?

TryLikingClarity · 27/06/2011 20:20

I also noticed that there was a clear lack of mention of her husband, just me me me. Her children were only mentioned in regard to what having and bfing them did to her body.

Do DM readers really lap this sort of brainrot up? Hmm No idea how.
