im thinking of setting up a group in london.
it will be for older women who have lived with abuse all theyre lives.
a place to meet others/social/talk group/support.
is anyone interested?and would anyone like to help me with this please?

I live 'down south' so am too far away to be much help but I just wanted to say it sounds like a fab idea and good luck.

i think it's a fabulous idea too, but am nowhere near London so not much practical help.

have you thought about premises/location and where you'd recruit other group members from?

well i was hoping somewhere between sw/north london.
i havent thought about premises yet[i only thought about a group this morning]
is there any womens centres about these days?
i was hoping to fire off e mails to womens groups/mental health groups ect!

there are lots of womens centres about - have a look in the yellow pages, or even the local library.
