Womankind worldwide?

A leaflet of theirs just fell out of my magazine. I don't really have time to do proper activism at the moment, so thinking of throwing some money at the problem, does anyone know whether these are good people to give money to? Or any better organisations working to support women who resist FGM?

thanks

Hello!

I work at Womankind and just noticed your post - thanks so much for thinking about donating to us (and everyone else for the nice comments!)

If you're particularly interested in our projects tackling FGM then I'm pretty sure you can make a restricted donation so that you're only supporting specific work, or work in a specific country (like Ethiopia where FGM is rife Womankind in Ethiopia)

If you send me a message with your email or number in I can ask one of my colleagues to give you a call or drop you a line on Monday. Or our contact details are here, along with loads of info about how we work Womankind FAQ

Thank you for thinking of us!

Sarah

PS We're nice people too - the only place I've ever worked that has a weekly all staff tea break as a recurring calendar appointment Wink
