Anything you want to talk about in particular sparky?

I have felt a bit like this sometimes and felt that stepping away from the feminism section on here and forgetting about it for a bit helps.

cloudyweather · 10/05/2011 19:19

oh im not talking about this board msrisotto-sorry-i should of said this
im talking about rl
fighting for the right for people to be them and fighting for disability

I didn't think that you did mean this board although I see how it has come across that way. Bad communication on my part there.

thefinerthingsinlife · 11/05/2011 09:18

I felt like this a few weeks ago. I felt fed up of fighting all the time, constantly having my feminism attacked. I came on here and had a rant and it really helped, I think everyone feels how you're feeling from time to time.

Hey sparky, I was wondering where you had gone :)

You go through periods of tiredness and then you get your energy back and carry on fighting, is how it goes. If you know your cause is right.

In a way the fact that there are so few feminist campaigners around makes me more determined, because if I shut up that means there is an even smaller number. But then if there were a lot then I would feel encouraged because it wouldn't be so lonely/hard all the time :)

MrsClown · 11/05/2011 12:13

Sparky, I dont suppose you live anywhere near Doncaster do you. I am the only feminist in Doncaster and I am also tired and lonely. DONT GIVE UP.

There were LOADS of people on it. I saw them going past my window for what seemed like about half an hour. Was so impressed because I know that going on a demo is enough effort and hassle when able-bodied. The sheer amount of effort involved in coming along made me feel pretty overawed.
