I'm still undecided which way to vote. I can't see AV making a differnce to women but I'm probably missing something.

Pah.

Too many people too scared of change. Or a vested interest in the status quo.

Pah, pah, pah.

On the BBC news, they keep saying "people have voted No for a change to the current voting system" , which unfortunately, is exactly what the tories were hoping would be the interpretation.
no, they're not saying no to a change, they're just saying no to AV.
I wish they'd been brave enough to agree to have a referendum for PR.
I know that the reason they didn't, is because people want PR, and let the libs have AV as a "compromise" (meaning, noone wants AV so will vote no, which means we can say "see, FPTP is the best option" and they knew that people would vote Yes to PR)
