I saw this article earlier today, and yes it is on the Mail website, I know it's wrong, but I seem to somehow enjoy reading the trash and having a bit of a rant about it to friends at work.
The headline is: "Brummie's Angels" Three hero WPCs who brushed aside sawn-off shotgun to corner fleeing armed robbers.
If it was the officers' own idea to pose in a Charlie's Angels fashion then fair enough, but otherwise dear lord could the photographer/editor be more patronising? Would they have got three male officers or a mixed group to pose like that? And dear Daily Fail editor - WPC is an obsolete term and has been for over a decade; I think you'll find that they are just police constables as you refer to them later in the article, so why use the outdated term in the headline?
