I don't really know what to say in response to that.

I know right, I typed a few things in my OP that I deleted.
It's obviously sick and wrong but also a continuation of the hatred and abuse of women theme I suppose.

Anorexia is such a denial of all things physical and sexual.

I don't think anorexia is a denial of all things sexual; it is often a denial of being seen as sexual by others, and denial of having oneself being controlled by others. I think that even emaciation is turned into a form of pornography, then anorexic women have nowhere left to go to work through those issues of sexuality and control.

The pro-ana websites are abhorrent and should be closed down. But its a free country, eh.

Yes, it is a free country, and as long as they are not actually at a weight which would get them sectioned, it is their right to do what they want with their own bodies.

They are just so sad though, those websites. They can be so competetive and as often anorexic girls are the same, it perpetuates their need to be the thinnest.

I can only really talk about my own experience of anorexia and yes, it was about control and about avoiding sexual experiences, ie avoiding becoming 'womanly' and attractive (I had been sexually abused).

I guess being sexually abused is a factor in some EDs and in some pornography 'stars' too. SO more in common the more I think about it, actually!

If porn is about the destruction of all women, it will target all women regardless......which is a very sad prospect...
